I'm in no way a fan of his and I'm glad he retired. I hope he stays retired however, out of curiosity, I was wondering why guys like Shorty retire. These guys obviously have no self esteem so It can't be because they suddenly feel ashamed of what they have been doing for years. No offense but someone like Shorty is obviously not educated or bright enough to do well in the real world. He also could never get the kind of pussy he fucks in porn in the real world; in case that is what he lives for. Could it be the risk of catching shit? I personally think that a guy like Shorty is way better off in this industry than in the real world. That is why Wesley Pipes doesn't want to leave. Or maybe Shorty is locked up.

i think shyla styles should retire, and just about every whore who's been in the biz 2+ years. re: mac, its kind of funny talking about the pornstars 'retiring', like its a real career or something, but it should be more of a career for the dudes, and for me its not as much a big deal deal if they stay in the biz, unless they are divas (sean michaels), and brand-named headliners (lex steele) who think they are more the attraction than the girls..

Shorty mac left the industry cause of his girlfriend, Trinity Post. Shorty and Trinity got into a relationship and when she left to go back to school, he left too. Shorty mac started when he got recruited by some porn chick out of new york cause he was in urban magazines that were for women. Like hood playgirl, where hung brothas was the focus. thats how he got known and started fucking for amateur porn productions. So I doubt he is not making money somewhere.

The reason wesley, rico and really any other dude in porn who stay in front of the camera is because they cant make relationships or lives that put them in a different perspective. 95% of men in porn are social degenerates, which is understandable, because society says big dicks will get a man all the pleasures and power he wants, but what it really means is that these losers don't have the game to get intimate with women, just their dicks, unlike all the other men in the world big or small.

The thing is simple, most of these guys get paid more money fucking than they would at an honest straight forward job. So why quit, they will never save that money and unless they make a niche for themselves or get close with a certain production group, they will keep getting in front of that camera and lose closer touch with real relationships and chances to find something that doesn't involve fucking women for money.

Why would any halfway good looking brother be a pornstar. The most attractive women in the business won't work with you regardless. relax. just because it seems to be a dream job for you doesn't make it so for other people. Some guys do well enough getting laid outside of porn that the idea of banging some porn chick who might hate doing men for money doesn't sound all that appealing. some guys like hookers more than sex with non hookers. doesn't make either better or worse.
however working in porn has been pretty much established to be an impediment to getting real jobs, having lasting relationships and keeping women who aren't in the business, etc. some of us don't want to have that sort of life. I used to write porn and that was pretty shitty in terms of getting other writing jobs and neither my face nor my real name was even attached to that shit. I can only imagine how much worse it can be when people have your face and dick on camera...

Being a male pornstar beats any "real job" I can think of doing. I think theres plenty of people that would love to be Lex or Mandingo. You dont need a degree or resume to do what they do and it feels good to go to work no matter how many years you been doing it.

That's your take. Personally I'd much rather be what I am right now- a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
