Can we really put 100% of the blame on the porn industry for being racist when we continue to see black performers star in fuck flicks like this?

I know it's all about the money, but if some black performers truly believe that most of the porn industry is racist (or run like an 18th-century plantation as someone earlier said), then they would refuse to sell themselves out in stereotypical, racist, movies and roles that permeate the marketplace. Bottom line, many black performers are not helping to solve the problem--instead they continue to perpetuate racial overtones while collecting their paychecks.

Yes, punk-ass agents like Ben English and performers like Alexis Texxas who consistently dodge brothas, are losers. But many of these perpetual "gangstas" of porn like Rico and Pipes deserve plenty of blame for their roles in this industry as well.

Nice to see you start this topic. Black male porn stars are not able to sustain themselves indepentantly. They have to work for companies like Dog Fart/BOB and MOC to make ends meet. There are very few companies that make IR porn for us. Those titles are so few that the title you highlghted is the norm for IR, these are the fantasies of some white guys who want to see thugs degrade hood rat loving white girls. The guys on this board complain alot about these kinds of images of us.

There used to be a few brothers that did their own thing but with piracy taking the profits from most if not all companies brothers like Lex,Sean and Slayer became casualties from this practice. That and the increase in dodging by most of the best non black chicks in the business. There was a short time when those brothers could get alot of the top chicks to work with them. They don't work if they don't do those productions. There are very few black on black productions made any more so they have to do this crap or do something else for a living.

True. Rico actually started out trying to emulate how Brian Pumper USED TO BE. Back in the early 2000's, Brian Pumper was the self proclaimed "Mr GQ of porn". He always did scenes looking sharp and suited up. I remember when Rico first hit the scene, in a BTS he said that he wanted to be "the next Brian Pumper". Those where his EXACT WORDS.

For whatever reason, both dropped the GQ look, in favor of the gangsta look. I thought Pumper looked weird suited up, but now he looks like a complete idiot with his fake ass gangsta shit.

here's another serious question: why are so many people 'irony-deficient'? reflecting racism in society in an ironic/satirical way through sublime entertainment seems to be an elusive concept to a lot of ppl; not just you ron ron..

Porn is many things but a benine satire of black folk it's not. White people look at us differently than any other group. No matter how you spin this no other group of people are treated as negatively than blacks in porn and that's no joke. No matter how we conduct ourselves in the real world we will never be considered "honoraraly white" like all other ethnic groups. So the depictions in porn are always harmful in my opinion.

I am white and watch IR exclusively....wouldn't even think of watching these types of scenes......the titles and scenarios being put there....from gangster/thugs scenes to watching my mommy and me go black kind of shit....just plain bad porn.

Cheap scenes with no passion/lust/fantasy.....best thing is to just support those who make solid IR scenes......Lex, Sean Michaels (back in the 90 early 2000s) etc.....always seemded to get better women with better scenes.
