First of all we would like to thank you for contributing to the site and making IR-TUBE.NET what it is today. We would not be able to do so without your taking the time to visit and make contributions.
As some you may be know, the forum has close to 2.5 million hits since the beginning of this year, with traffic still steadily increasing. As a result of this, we have been forced to move the website to a dedicated server and our hosting costs have risen dramatically.
Our aim was to keep the forum free for all however despite advertising we have insufficient funds to keep the forum running. We need donations to keep this forum running, Without enough donations the forum will unfortunately close and will not be back again.
We appreciate all our members, whether they are able to make donations or not. All funds received are used exclusively to pay the monthly dedicated hosting and bandwidth, plus any essential maintenance work that is required to do.

I second that, Realdeal7! Your bandwidth shouldn't be that high if you have some type of regulation going. Consider cutting off guest browsing and see if that helps.

I suppose I might as well, but am wondering if we were to make some changes in the board if that might not help as well. We have about 4000 pages in the non IR video section that exist for almost no reason. Most of the vids in there exist solely so these super uploaders- guys who post fifty or sixty links at a time on a hundred boards can put their links just one more place. Most of the links don't generate many looks, and these guys are just putting their links up in a million places so they can generate a few bucks (maybe some of THESE dudes should be charged). Honestly I don't want to subsidize these guys who are making money off the board (because even if they only generate ten hits here, it's added to the fifty other places they post, and soon they're reaching like a thousand hits which gets them some income). Having the board be completely open is also a bad idea, IMO. It makes it very hard to police. There are days where I just spend two hours cutting spammers off. I'm not going to volunteer my time as a mod, and pay to use the board and have other people who are using it for free and then do shit that makes them money, but causes me problems. Post limits, and other shit that makes it hard for every jerkoff who just comes on to leech and be a pain posting online poker links and viagra ads might be nice as well. It just doesn't make any sense to me to pay and give these non-contributors the privilege of being freeloading assholes.
yeah 3/4ths or more of the vid posts are spammers. Posters that are truely ligit IR Fans and sharers of content like Hoss, Nonutz and Harris should even be alowed to post.
We made the forums available to members only in the past, but people complained and wanted it available to guests. We'll reconsider making it a members only board.
personally for marketing reasons, I would say NOT to make it member only. Sell ad spots, there are a lot of IR companies I think that may be interested. 2nd-ly yes allow videos, but put a time limit post on them. Meaning they can post but after like 30-90 days thery are taken down. 3rd, get rid of all the NON IR....portions of the board, as they are not necessary for an IR board. The owner needs to also talk to some tube porn sites they might be down for ad swaping for being part of a network (i.e. pornhub and spankwire network. More people you can get more hits...more hits better for ad selling, and for those that complain about ads, DEAL if you want to keep the board open. But thats some of my thoughts.
