Any movie scenes that traumatized you as a kid?

I would sneak and watch Benny Hill after everyone went to bed, and this trailer came on. I couldn't have been older than 8. Sitting less than a foot away from the screen, I ran out of the room screaming. I came across the trailer on youtube recently and, as a grown as man, was nervous re-watching it for the first time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 in the 90s. The quality of the movie itself was frightening. But the way the Turtles and Splinter looked gave me nightmares.

Yeah i know the feeling..trailers for It's Alive and Magic always used to have me rushing to change the channel most late nights  The thing you had to watch for is the"film scratch" effect on screen the second before the trailer started

That's because the old cartoons weren't meant to hold kids' hands and be nice to them. Rather, they were means to make fun of the dark side of life.

Think about it, when a kid back then was young, chances were that he would go to war in a couple of years and end up dying.

Disney was DARK.
