Remember when I told you sex robots would take the place of pornstars/hookers, it has come

" N. America's 1st sex doll brothel to open in Toronto"
https://www.rt.com/news/436986-sex-doll-...l-toronto/

The sex dolls are snatching wigs from ya hookaz.  I bet this place will do more business than a real brothel.

Sex robots may be the future, but I prefer the real thing.

I'm old fashioned that way.

Agreed, nothing is better than the real thing, having a sex dolls will not give that feeling and it just similar to playing with yourself and a sex toy.

Full contact virtual (i.e. The Matrix) is the future. But it's still 30-40 years out. Sex robots are not likely to be truly lifelike in that period, so they'll likely end up being just elaborate sex toys and novelties.

When it comes to the future, much will weigh on future legislation. Will sexbots that look like underage girls be banned? Will celebs be able to sue someone for a deepfake or sexbot look alike? I personally believe a combo of deepfakes and VR will become more mainstream than sexbots.

No. Already constitutionally protected. That's why Lolicon is legal. As long as no real minors are involved, it's protected free speech.

Agreed. Once you can just plug in pics and the computer will spit out celeb porn, there's not much they can do about it. Mostly it will be take down notices for the shit that's posted online.

Already banned, which is ironic, because one would imagine, you'd rather have a pedo fucking a sex doll than going out and raping real children.

Nothing will replace real life PUSSY!
However, VR with some sort of tactile feedback would be a pretty good alternative.
Once we crack quantum computing, all of this and more is possible.
Porn is always an early testing ground for tech so we will all reap the benefits!

Again, this is you spreading misinformation.

Underage ART is constitutionally protected free speech. Unless it is "virtually indistinguishable from a real minor". A sex bot cannot currently be made that qualifies.

The hilariously named "CREEPER ACT" passed the House but has not passed the Senate and therefore is not yet law.

The story was Canadian, so I was speaking about Canadian law (which we can say it is probably illegal given the guy has so many charges on him below), but in the UK where I am now its totally illegal (people have been sentenced to jail)

https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/trial-hear...-1.3337784
"Kenneth Harrisson of St. John's, a 51-year-old electrician, has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing child pornography and mailing obscene matter. He also faces two charges under the federal Customs Act of smuggling and possession of prohibited goods.
Canada's Criminal Code says child pornography includes "a photographic, film, video or other visual representation, whether or not it was made by electronic or mechanical means" that shows explicit sexual activity involving anyone who is, or is depicted as being, under the age of 18.

Such materials are also child porn if they primarily depict, for a sexual purpose, a sexual organ or anal region of anyone under 18."

"A U.K. Judge Has Ruled That Sex Dolls Resembling Children Are 'Obscene'

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/cr...73876.html
"A man has been handed a 12-month suspended sentence after importing a childlike sex doll he bought online amid a national crackdown."

I'm not spreading misinformation, the laws are just different, in different countries.
