IR-Tube.net changes you would like for 2019...

I thought it was 100 posts and I hope I am bumped up as this is my 100th post - plus been signed up for nearly 10 years Smile Smile

I was just browsing a thread and I noticed a Senior Member with 18 posts so asking - otherwise I would have come cap in hand to moderators prior Smile

I don't see why. It's posted and stickied right here in the Announcement Thread for all the world to see.

Thanks I got it - I lost track of the board structure as just focus on IR Porn Discussion threads. Stick to the meat and potatoes Smile

Have to state it seems rather unfair to me. As the goal posts seem to have moved from when the board was revived. A change I would request is that members who have been around for 9.5 years plus, have over 100 posts are made senior members Smile

On the great news that the board was revived by veteran stalwart members as yourself the criterion was 50 posts current or grandfathered - I wasn't familiar with the reputation score and the likes.

Fellow posters can you please oblige - many thanks in advance Smile

I should probably join in with my view on the reposting thing since the other two mods did so in this topic already instead of discussing it with me through PM privately after Shogun suggested it in his post. The reason I called out iramaj was because I thought mods at least read the last few posts in updates before posting an update themselves. If it was a regular poster I could understand. But mods on forums are expected to make sure people aren't breaking whatever rules they create so minimal reading of a couple of posts prior was something I thought happened. And again it wasn't several pages back it was within 5-7 posts. Reposting isn't a big deal duplicates happen all the time. It even happened after that situation with someone reposting an announcement of Jane Wild's dogfart scene iramaj posted. It was probably the frequency of seeing the same user doing it to me that set me off. It wasn't like I had any chance anyway it was one civilian against two mods on a site. At least Shogun admitted I was technically right...

To add a comment toward a common complaint. I think the reason the IR Website Update, Upcoming IR Releases, and First IR announcement threads get so many non announcement comments is because it is the one of the few places where some users discuss non-Blacked scenes on a regular basis. Whenever a Blacked scene comes out Blacked/Blacked Raw has their dedicated threads where people discuss the pros and cons of the scene or the women. If a porn star let's say Ginger Banks, Maitland Ward, Emily Blacc, Olive Glass, Chloe Cherry, or a dodger shot an IR scene at Evil Angel or any non Lansky owned company. There isn't much places on this forum to discuss those types of scenes if any takes place at all.

So it gets discussed where it is posted which may be in one of those three sections. Any of those examples shoot for Blacked you would have people calling them ugly/hot and discuss the scene in the Blacked thread. It is probably annoying for those who enter those topics just for the updates but seems that is just the way the forum has fragmented over time. DarkX and TLBC had threads here but those died like at least a year ago. And any discussions of their scenes probably take place in one of those sections. The Blacked thread has around 12,300 comments. No other thread comes close yet other companies shoot IR. Some of which have existed for years before Blacked.

The work put in by Hoss etc. is incredible... but I just (personally) to see pro-am/amater stuff and/or gangbangs ... and it seems pretty hard to find anything like that! (Or am I missing something?)

They'd either need a tag system or someone to go through all the old vids and create a new specific thread. Kinda what I was talking about earlier in the thread. The problem is that either way, someone is either gonna go through everything and tag the stuff they like (I don't think they even have a tagging system btw), or go through good and dead links to create a thread for a specific fetish, actress or site.

AND THEN! That opens the issue of people complaining about things being in the wrong thread, or multiple threads of very similar things. In the case of the tagging, who is gonna be given the ability to edit posts (like a mod); and think about all the duplicate tags you see on xvideos or pornhub (ASS, ass, azz, Booty, big butt, juicy booty, pawg, swiggity swooty I'm comin' for that booty)...

This is a complicated thing... I'm just glad when I search "Jada Stevens" within the IR vault, I get all the IR scenes of Jada instead of the usual 2 or 3 repeated across 50 pages of mostly vanilla also repeated.

Yeah, I know it wouldn't be easy, that was just the only thing I am really concerned with in terms of the site itself. I found the site because of serginho's thread where he'd post stuff (and there were one or two other threads of a similar ilk). For me, a lot of the amateur content isn't really searchable by name like you said, so yeah. Does anyone have any tips of better searching for am/pro-am stuff then?

Okay Jeff I was wrong, you were right. I will make a stronger effort to not repost your material.

No one is ganging up on you about it because Shotgun didn't even take my side about it. You just spazzed out about something so petty, like I was trying to steal your clout and e-pats on the back for having posted it first. I just post it up a as I come across it. It's not a competition but if you need the W to feel validated, it's yours. If you want to PM me about it go right ahead but I looked at it as already being discussed out in the open. Did I look? Yes. Did I overlook it? YES.

Let me show you how easy it is for someone to overlook something. Not a day earlier, not on another page, not 5-7 posts before, not even a post in between them.  Only 31 minutes separated these.

I just attempted. The best I can say is to go into the vault, use the search bar near the bottom of the page, and search for either 'homemade' or 'manyvids'. Some stuff may not be "amateur" enough, so you may have to nitpick. I know you also prefer mmf or gangbangs so you may have to nitpick extra.

Just a minor tech nitpick; perhaps better optimization for mobile users? Unless there's already a mobile site/optimization and I haven't noticed it yet.

Nobody's perfect

I never said I was perfect and I remember that situation. We used to be able to delete posts or edit them a bit longer and I would have done so but 1 hour had passed so there was nothing I could do about it. If there had been extended time to edit posts I would have removed the Sophie Anderson scene mention from that post. This reminds me of a possible suggestion for this site.

Bring back allowing non mods the ability to delete posts or at least change the editing time. I already now the counter argument is maybe during an argument people might delete posts or edit them but if that happens maybe punish them harshly or something. It feels weird going from reddit or a couple other forums where that is allowed to here.

That's  a software issue. I will look into it, but I do not recall this software having any mobile optimization options.
