Gillette should be ashamed of them selves because there razor are expensive as hell. You can’t even get it out of the shelves because they are locked and you got to get someone from the store to open it.

Plus those multiple blades are irritating to the skin.I use a Norelco electric shaver or just go to the barber and get a straight razor shave.

The razors aren't that expensive anymore. I use Mach 3s, and I remember when a 5 pack was like 17 bucks. Now, they are like half that. I suspect this is due to dollar shave club disrupting Gillette's business model.

This seems to be a bone-headed move, though. Sure, these effeminate beta SJW cucks who would support something like this need to shave and will one day be the dominant force in the market, plenty of other guys don't appreciate this. Maybe they are being like Nike and playing the long game. I'm not going to boycott their razors. I can't, because they are the only ones who don't irritate my skin to high hell. I've never tried DSC, but I've been wanting to give them a shot. Maybe I will now.

It was interesting to see the parallel with Nike and Kaepernick whose ad may have targeted the younger urban market. Whereas Gillette offended a good junk of their target market. I would hypothesize they did it for two reasons: Say something controversial because that's what gets people talking about you in this age of 24/7 social media news or target married females since they handle a lot of the household purchasing decisions.

Either way in the long run it won't matter because Gilette is a drop in the bucket to Procter & Gamble (who owns them) and they own most of the household care and personal care brands in the world.

By stirring up controversy they probably thought it would basically be free publicity like with Nike and Colin Kapernick, except instead of going after a slice of a political base they went after an entire gender - a gender that is their core demographic. This was their big mistake.

What makes the ad painful for me to watch is that instead of showing examples of positive masculine qualities and building from that, it was just a deluge of cartoonish stereotypes that if they switched to criticize minorities or women in the exact manner would've caused a real uproar. Funnily enough, like with Nike, Gillette's parent company Procter & Gamble have done so much corrupt shit (child slave labor, mass rainforest deforestation, multinational tax evasion, animal abuse, etc.) it's funny that they have the audacity to focus on "moral marketing."

Oh the hypocrisy...

"The Best Ass A Man Can Get!"

This is the shit that drives me crazy. These are EVIL fucking corporations. I'm sitting here, minding my own business, trying to be a good dude and do the right thing. And here comes this massive, multi-national corporation that has made billions of dollars by raping the planet and exploiting slave labor in the third world, and they're gonna' have the fucking audacity to lecture me for my "toxic masculinity"? (i.e. still having a pair of balls). Fuck off. This shit has gotten ridiculous.

I think its funny, the soy boys are losing their shit in the white supremacist net.
Let the pinkboys manginas destroy each other, not my problem, brothas stay alpha getting pussy, not worrying about some bicha commercial.
If brothas worried about how media shows us as human scum, we'd never leave the house.

I understand what you mean, but brothas take the brunt of the consequences of the "evil male" narrative.  A lot of black men have been accused, convicted and killed because of the myth of the abominable black man.
