They're turning this into a Bourne/mission impossible series with all the sequels. Not that I mind. Its about time we had a straightforward assassin series.

Rare series where every flick is better than the last. And the best news of all

I wanted to like this movie. I  bought my tickets a week in advance and saw it yesterday.

It was ok. Asia Kate Dillon (Taylor from Billions) was great in it, I wish there was more of them

But it was just a series of action set pieces connected by short spurts of dialogue. The plot here is razor thin. The early movies had enough story and intrigue to keep you guessing. This movie throws that away for some very on the nose exposition, followed by another 10 minute fight montage.

It had the most action but was the weakest installment in the series. The pacing in the previous films allowed you to feel something. This movie does not. And the best recurring line of the first two, spoken in heavy Russian accent, is absent from this film, "He is a man of focus"

The next movie will be even more  than this movie. But I'm not sure it will be better  than the first two.
