Yep! I always thought she was hot and she was always very comfortable around brothas. I wrote about her on the White Girls I Like Thread. It's not surprising that she would date one of the brothas she has either covered or worked with.

Oh, and funny how few White people know Tim Howard is mixed. I bet if they did know we wouldn't have heard half as much excitement over his World Cup performance.

I wasn't aware that only white people watched football in the us.

Pretty much and Latinos. Soccer is largely an elitist sport in this country unlike it is in the rest of the world. That's why America won't ever IMO become an international power because the athletes that truely count (brothas) don't give a rats ass about soccer. None of the brothas I deal with on the regular watched even one second of the World Cup and the majority are professionals. This sport really doesn't resonate at all to the vast majority of blacks in this country.

I don't usually have problems with your posts, but this one fails miserably. First of all, you missed the point I was trying to make. For the sport to be exploding at the rate it is (along with the tv ratings), it can't be just white people watching. I know people say latinos have something to do with it and skew the numbers, but they tend to watch the Spanish league, not the English Prem League.

Secondly, if what you said were true (athletes that truly count = black) then explain why the world powers don't usually have a lot of black players. Brazil is the only one. Italy didn't have a black player until Balotelli. England has them, but that nation's football has been disappointing for decades now. Outside of Ghana getting screwed in 2010, African nations don't do well at the WC. The US will never be a superpower for a few reasons, but what you said isn't really one of them. USA football really isn't that bad. People in this country have the mentality that if you aren't number 1, then you're shit.

Dude, where the hell do you live? Blacks dominate the most popular sports in this country (our football and basketball) if you didn't notice. These sports are MUCH more physically and athletically demanding than your beloved soccer EVER could be. This country will NEVER become a soccer power with middle class to wealthy white kids playing against each other; Klinsman almost said as much. Around the world the poor are the ones that become the stars not the well to do. You really need to come to this country and understand American blacks not the blacks you seem to deal with from where ever you are from. NOBODY watches soccer in this country compared to our other professional team sports. The World Cup is an event not something that will garner further support for the game played here.

Bacari Sanga and his wife. Time to change that Arsenal kit, though. He's headed to Manchester City for that oil money.

quit taking you seriously after the third sentence. clearly, you know fuck all about world football. midfielders often run between 15 and 20 miles a game, and at the highest level, teams can sometimes play 3 games in a 10 day period. I'd like to see an NFL reciever do that (considering all that weight) and maintain the muscle mass. central defenders are often in american football shape, especially in England where physique and strength are part of the required skillset due to the nature of the English game.

how long has MLS been around again? you're comparing a long established brand like the NFL to one that's still relatively new. not to mention MLS isn't exactly the best league in terms of quality, so of course it's not going to have as many viewers as the nfl. fact is, the popularity is STILL growing at an exponential rate, and with that increase, we're more likely to see increased participation at a young age. our youth system needs an overhaul, period. drafting out of colleges won't work because it's too late by then. kids need to be playing in professional academies at 7yrs old, not deciding to get serious about it in high school.

Again, if poverty were an indicator of success in this regard, then why do we have wealthy countries who are superpowers (Germany, Netherlands). Wouldn't Eastern European and African teams dominate?

Joe Haden and his fiance/wife. The blonde that he had before (dumped her right before the draft lol) was pretty hot, but he knew what the deal was. She was a jersey chaser and a half and most of the football guys had it.
