RETMAN Wrote:This has got to be the most well received flick by reviewers since Cap's flick to start the summer season. It's expected to exceed 90 mil this weekend according to most sources in Hollywood.

You're right, the critical acclaim Guardians of the Galaxy has been receiving is stellar. At the moment at Rotten Tomatoes it has a composite critics rating of 92% and an audience rating of 96%. It has a Metacritic rating of 76 (compared to the 69 that The Avengers received and the 70 that Captain America: The Winter Soldier received.) In only its first five days, Guardians of the Galaxy has made 184 million dollars in worldwide box office, which is incredible.

Today I saw Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX 3D and really enjoyed it.

I saw Guardians Of The Galaxy last week, and in my opinion, only The Avengers, Winter Soldier, and maybe Iron Man 1 were ahead of it. Very enjoyable flick---can't wait for the sequel. Hopefully, they include more cosmic-heroes like Quasar (Wendall Vaughn, not Moondragon's girlfriend, Phylla-Vell), Adam Warlock (supposedly, his cocoon was in GOTG, but I missed it), Firelord and even Pip The Troll. Imagine him and Rocket Raccoon together!

^ Yeah, that's about how I would rank the Marvel movies so far. My top three are The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy in that order. Those three are among the very best of the comic book superhero movies.

Marvel has announced they are working on the Black Panther film, but the release date is TBA.

I personally want to see Galactus in one of their phases, Avengers + Guardians team up = epic!
But Fox has the rights to him so i doubt it will happen.

The Inhumans would be cool for the movies---their diverse looks alone make it intriguing. Can you imagine how Triton, Medusa & Lockjaw would look in the movies? And Gorgon's hoof-stomping and especially Black Bolt unleashed would be nice visuals. I hope they're not under control of the people who did Fantastic Four, because they really didn't do such a great job with the FF. The Inhumans are a spin-off (of sorts) of the FF, as they made their first appearances in the FF vol. 1. Medusa first appeared as a member of The Frightful Four, but her and her sister Crystal, both served as members of the FF, so the ties between the two groups are very strong. I hope it happens...

Been hearing about a Panther movie for what seems like forever (Wesley Snipes was linked to the movie, but it never happened). The Panther is just one of the coolest characters, and I'd love to see him get a shot in the movies. They could use Klaw, Killmonger or Man-Ape (but, not with that silly outfit!) as the villain in the film.

Marvel is killing DC in the movies! They are more prolific, for one, and for the most part, the movies have been solid. DC better hope that Superman vs Batman joint does well---same for the JLA movie....

Fox doesn't own The Inhumans film rights but Marvel/Disney does which is an good thing because the FF reboot won't follow the comic book. I wish Marvel would get the right to the FF, But Fox is doing an good job with the X-Men film rights. Since Fox have the film rights to the X-Men I hope they make an X-Force and Deadpool movies too.
